Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Storia mobile application and any related services (collectively, the “Service”), operated by Lei Xu, an individual developer located at Guanshan Dadao Xinshijie 2703, Wuhan, Hubei 430000, China. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority, you must use the Service with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

• •You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• •Provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date.
• •Notify us immediately at support@storiafm.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Lei Xu grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use the Service on devices you own or control, solely for your own personal, non-commercial enjoyment of audio drama content.

• •The Service may offer virtual currency (“Coins”) and subscription plans that unlock premium episodes and features. Purchases made in the iOS app are processed through the Apple App Store; purchases made in the Android app are processed through Google Play.
• •Coins have no monetary value, are non-transferable, and are not refundable except where required by law or the applicable Apple App Store or Google Play policy. Purchased Coins do not expire.
• •Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. Manage or cancel renewal in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings before the renewal date. Deleting the Storia app or your Storia account does not cancel a store subscription.
• •Use the Restore Purchases function provided in the app or the applicable store account to restore eligible purchases.
• •Prices, packages, and reward grants may change. Any changes will take effect prospectively and will not retroactively affect already-purchased Coins or active subscription periods.
• •Storia reserves the right to suspend or revoke Coins or premium access obtained through fraud, abuse, refund chargeback after consumption, or violation of these Terms.

You agree not to:

• •Use the Service in violation of any applicable law.
• •Reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or attempt to bypass any protection measures on the Service or its content.
• •Re-distribute, rebroadcast, or publish any audio content from the Service without our written permission.
• •Submit content (e.g., comments) that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit toward minors, infringing, or otherwise objectionable.
• •Interfere with the operation of the Service or the experience of other users.

All audio dramas, scripts, cover art, trademarks, and other materials made available through the Service are owned by Lei Xu or the Service’s licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership to you.

If you submit comments, ratings, or other content (“User Content”), you grant Lei Xu a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, display, and adapt that content as needed to operate and promote the Service. You represent that you have the rights necessary to grant this license.

• •We may review, filter, refuse, restrict, or remove User Content that violates these Terms or creates a safety, legal, or service integrity risk.
• •You can report objectionable comments and block their authors using the controls shown with a comment. Reports may include your selected reasons and optional description and will be reviewed for appropriate action.
• •We may suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly or seriously violate these Terms. Abuse of reporting or blocking features is also prohibited.

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lei Xu disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lei Xu will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any direct damages will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to us in the 12 months before the claim or (b) USD 50.

You may stop using the Service at any time. You may permanently delete your account in the app by opening Profile, then Settings, Account, and Delete account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Account deletion or termination does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability, will survive.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Service. Continued use after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Mandatory consumer protection laws in your country or region of residence continue to apply where they cannot lawfully be excluded.
